Anointing is not enough There are two sources of strength for every man (believer): The human spirit and the anointing by the Holy Spirit. Many people prefer anointing to human spirit because, it looks like a gift. But developing the human strength is just as important as receiving the anointing. We must learn to live without anointing, so that the anointing comes to crown our spiritual strength to do exploit for God. We do not need anointing to keep the word of God and hold fast to His Name; personal strength is rather, what we need (Rev. 3:8). Anointing without personal strength is like putting new wine into an old bottle. The bottle breaks and the wine run out or leaks out of the bottle, wasting the wine (Mat 9:17, Mar 2:22).
